I’m sure you’ve all seen pictures of Paris Hilton carrying her tiny Chihuahua all dressed up in the latest doggie fashions. I read somewhere that she actually has someone design clothes for her dog. Isn’t that wild!

Most pet owners, myself included, probably can’t afford the price of her dogs’ (she has several) wardrobe.

There are some people who absolutely hate seeing clothing on dogs. As a fan of talk show host Jay Leno, I know it is one of his pet peeves, no pun intended.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. But here’s mine in case you were wondering. I think it’s okay if you want to dress your dog up sometimes.

My little dogs do occasionally wear sweaters in the winter to keep them warm when they go outside.

Before I had children, I used to dress my dogs up for Halloween and they’d wear those cute little reindeer antlers with jingle bells at Christmas, but usually only for family pictures.

I still have all their little sweaters, jackets, T-shirts, hats, etc. packed away in a closet. The precious dogs that wore most of them are now gone to heaven. I have so many fond memories of them in their cute little clothes I just can’t part with their stuff.
