Wagging Tails

Published by angietawater at 9:57 pm under Life with Dogs Edit This

If you see a dog wagging his tail you can bet he’s just happy to see you. I’m sure most dog lovers know this already but a dog communicates his mood by wagging his tail. If he’s happy, excited or even hungry, you’ll see that tail wagging.

You’ll notice that dogs wag their tail at people, other dogs, and even at cats. When you see dogs chasing each other during play time watch their tails wagging wildly. That’s one of the ways they communicate with each other.

But dogs aren’t stupid, they don’t waste those wags on just anything. A dog won’t wag its tail at a book, chair or other lifeless object that can’t communicate. They save those wags for special people and interesting things.
